In the beginning: A new approach transforms purging technology
RapidPurge technology was developed in Holland, where leading polymer chemists set out to invent a compound that would reduce costs associated with cleaning machinery by hand. Their efforts yielded a solution that minimized resin degradation, eliminated waste and enhanced productivity.
In 1979, the licensing rights for the technology were sold to Innotech Corp., which manufactured and distributed RapidPurge in the United States. Innotech, specialists in technical innovation consulting, further refined RapidPurge. The result was highly engineered purging technology.
In 1990, RapidPurge became independently owned. It is now privately held by Cross-Western LLC, whose manufacturing and distribution center is located in Stratford, Connecticut.
